Ever since I can remember, I have loved playing with baby dolls, which led to my passion for real life babies. We’re all asked the question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” Some young adults have no idea, but me on the other hand, have no doubt. I want to, and am going to be a labor and delivery RN. If I could earn a living for the rest of my life doing this job, you would never see me complain, there’s no other way to describe it other than being complete. I like to be hopeful, and would like to think this could change the world because I could help mothers become good mothers, and teach them the beginning steps they need to know in their child’s life.
Teenage mothers are high in today’s society, but do they know the first thing about raising a baby? Some may, and some may not. I want to help them understand what is going on, how to care for that infant in the first hours of his/her life, and to teach her skills she will take home to practice until that baby is grown. I think by doing even this little thing, would cut back on giving the child away, and even help mothers that are maybe involved in drugs; teach them how beautiful this creature is they brought into this world, and how important it is to be there for him/her. Not only teenage mothers, but any inexperienced woman who brings a child into this world. Overall I want to help every mother, and every baby that would ever cross my path, I just want to make a difference.
