My dream has always been to become an Interior Designer, so I put everything into my education to be able to pursue such a career path in college. I currently attend Washington State University, and find that my passion for design has yet to diminish. Beyond creativity and excitement, this career holds an important aspect of life: happiness. Not only will working as a designer please me, but I plan to bring happiness to all my clients, as well. The whole point of Interior Design is finding the best fit for the client, and bringing to life their aspirations. To see the smile on a client’s face at the end of a project is what the job is all about. Putting a smile on the face of a client does not come easily, and will not be possible without hard work and devotion. As I move from school to a firm, I hope to expand my ability to please my clientele and provide innovative and economical designs. With careful consideration for how my designs are affecting my clients, the economy, and the environment, I can slowly change the world one design at a time. Altering a single person’s reality – their happiness, their space – will ultimately alter the world in some way or another, big or small. I look forward to such a beautifully dangerous power in my career; the world needs more beauty and positivity, and I plan to bring just that.
