My passion is a successful blog I created, “Afros and Curls in Art History”. The expansion of this blog will lead me to earn a living. Currently I have a following of 2,300. I am taking small steps to expand this into a website that can be a resource for others who show interest in these topics. The gradual growth of this blog will change the world by providing an avenue for persons who are Afro-decent or persons interested in African-type hair that will utilize my offerings for their own research. The availability of information will educate, and further establish the importance of Afro history and culture to the people of the world. One key element to, “Afros and Curls in Art History” is the research I have done and the accessibility of no-cost information for fellow bloggers. Gaining this scholarship will give me the opportunity to begin my career with assistance from NYU, a noted champion in Museum Studies. My goals include gaining a Ph.D. from this prestigious institution of higher learning.
