I am a storyteller.
Since I was young, I’ve always loved writing stories. Nothing brings me more joy than imagining faraway places and fantastical realms. As I grew and developed during my high school years, I found that I enjoy implementing this passion through film. However, this realization also presented me with a terrifying challenge: if I want pursue a career as a visual storyteller, I would have to accept the fact that those in the film industry often go through periods of inconsistent incomes or flat out unemployment.
If I could earn a living through visual storytelling, I would take up the opportunity in a heartbeat. I would use my passion to make a difference: I want to use storytelling to shed light on the the untold tales of abused animals. I’ve always felt a calling to do this; I believe that my compassion for these creatures combined with visual storytelling could truly make an impact. I know that in the film industry, one must start at the bottom and work their way up. I could do this by going to college for film. I would find internships wherever I could, and when my dream becomes doable, I will make it happen. I say this with confidence because this is my current plan for life. Whether or not I make a good living from my dream; I am determined to do what I love the most. I will always be a storyteller, and nothing will change that.
