I have always had a passion for art. I love creating new designs, experimenting with different colors, and most of all I love drawing, but I never thought pursuing this hobby would keep me financially stable in the future. I am now going to college to earn a bachelor’s degree in science because I think it would be most beneficial in my career. If I could earn a living for making unique pieces of art, I believe it would inspire numerous people to do what they love to do in their free time which would result in a happier environment, and it would make most people less afraid of the possible financial consequences of leaving work to do what they enjoy most. In addition, the world may be dull without art because art is everywhere and it contributes to the beauty of our surroundings. If I earned a living doing this, I think the world would be a more amazing place to live in and people with or without artistic ability would enjoy adding to the art around us. If I did decided to pursue a career in art, my short term goal would be to find a school that offers the best art program and enroll with the intention of gaining a bachelor’s degree in art. My long term goal would be to maintain a good GPA throughout all four years of college and then start working towards my career by trying to earn money for this.
