If I can make a living out of what I love most, it would be as a professional flutist. Most parents in the world often push young children to learn an instrument; however, as soon as the children grow up and declare that they will make music as a living, the parents panic and try to dissuade the children from pursuing music as a career. Most often, the reasons include the financial insecurities and the competition involved in a music career.

However, as Bono said, “Music can change the world because it can change people.” People’s lives can be changed by music in a positive way. When people are down, listening music can lift their spirits. Whether it is teaching music to students to show them the magic of music or performing in a large concert hall for people’s enjoyment, music can bring joy to people’s lives. A single note can make all the difference in the world.
