Enjoying the work we do every day is certainly a rare thing, yet it is even more rare to live out a dream job. If I had a choice of having any job in the world, I would be a landscape photographer. Looking at the work of Ansel Adams and Peter Lik, to name a couple, makes me realize what an amazing world we have. Whenever I seem to be feeling depressed or like life is pointless, I can look at the stunning art these two fantastic photographers have created and I am instantly struck by how wonderful and beautiful the creation of God is. I know that he loves me even more than the awe-inspiring world he created and no matter what I am feeling it always encourages me. Ansel Adams and Peter Lik have inspired me and made me see things that I never thought I would see. They have showed the world in a different light. While being a landscape photographer may not seem like a profession that would be able to change the world, my world has been changed in staggering ways because of photographers like Adams and Lik. I can only hope to inspire someone in the same way that they have inspired me, and hopefully I would be able to change someone else’s life. If I can change one persons life, then I consider my life well lived.
