If I could achieve the success to pursue any career that I desire, it would definitely be a psychologist. I feel that being a psychologist is very beneficial to individuals in our society by the frequent rise of mental health problems we currently face. There is such a high distribution of medication consistently abused that counseling others and trying to solve the roots of the problems before diagnosis is the key to helping before prescribing pills. I have wanted to be a psychologist for a majority of my life and have been influenced by those that have helped me with the anxiety that I have experienced. I feel being a psychologist is not only desirable with the income, but my main goal is to assist those in need. Helping others has always been something I strive to perfect, but to be able to help others with a career is a key passion. My ultimate goal is obtain a doctorate in the field of Clinical Psychology so I could one day have my own practice. Seeking out new patients and assisting those with mental anguish is not only something I could relate with, the important issue is tackling the issue with problem solving strategies and extensive research.
