Coaching a Track and Field team of my own is a dream that I plan to achieve. By me doing this would change the world by keeping young men and women on the right track and out of trouble by keeping them active. Also by me training athletes it gives them an opportunity to have a free education by getting athletic scholarships.
The road ahead of me getting to where I want to be in life is not going to be an easy one. First I’ll have to complete all three levels of the USATF Coaching schools. I’ve already completed level 1 of the coaching school which puts me one step closer to my future goals. Personally, coaching is more than just giving someone directions and having them follow. It’s about mentoring someone to see the best in themselves when they cannot.
After years of working with High School athletes my focus after that will be to train and mold Olympians out of collegiate athletes. Preferably, Division 1 schools such as University of Oregon, Florida and Arkansas just to name a few. This level of competition is always amazing to me so being surrounded by it is priceless.
Having a job such as coaching is great for me because it will not feel like a job. I’ll never get out of bed feeling miserable. Coming to work will be fun every day while we are all still working hard to be the best we can.
