A question commonly asked is, “How can I change the future?”. Many believe that it is through science, arts, mathematics, and language. They would be right! But how can society achieve such a future if they are not taught it since birth? The answer to a brighter future is children. If every generation was taught to be brighter and better than the last, the world would change completely. Children have the potential to change the course of the future, depending on the education and dreams they had when they were young. The young generations are the children that will grow to one day lead this great nation. That is why teachers and childhood education is so important in society today.
As I attend college, it is my dream to study just that; Childhood Education. I believe that changing the world begins with a small child. I know that if dreams are encouraged and nursed when the children carrying them are young, those children will have the capability to chase those dreams until the very end.
Teaching is the very root of society. So much depends on the education levels and beliefs of the incoming generations. I want to be the teacher that encourages students to follow their dreams and educate themselves as much as they can. I want to be the teacher that supports and believes in the children so that they can believe in themselves. Creating a brighter future begins with creating a brighter generation.
