One of the things I love doing the most is helping vulnerable people. In the society in which we live in today we see many negative problems around the word. As a human, part of my duty is to help and intervene by making a difference in this world. I believe that, changing the world starts by changing someone’s world first, regardless of their age, sex, race, etc. As I work hard towards my goal, I dream of one day working for a federal law enforcement agency, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Working for an agency such as the FBI’s will allow me to follow my dream and do what I love the most, helping vulnerable people. For instance, an area of interest is working and preventing human trafficking. Human trafficking is a common problem in the United States. Since the year 2009, pending human trafficking case has increased from 167 to 459 by the end of the fiscal year of 2012 (Human Tracking – FBI Initiatives). In order for me to reach my goal I have continued my education on earring a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. I have maintained good grades, worked in Crime Victims Advocacy, Legal Assistant, and continued to expand my education in the Criminal Justice filed. As I further my education my next goal is to work for the Oregon State Police (OSP), graduate with a Bachelors Degree and apply with the the FBI.
