I would love to be a Transitional Home Director because the rewards are far greater than money.
My goal in life is to open a transitional home for those who want to turn their lives around and to learn to help others do the same. With this goal I believe that one person at a time will eventually reach the masses for a better and safer world than we see today. Fact is that people who have been through some traumatic life experiences are far more effective than someone who has only heard or read about them.
I’m sure you have heard the saying, “Each One Reach One!’ So imagine this! Take all the drug dealers, users, thugs, criminals’, and prostitutes and teach them to turn their lives around, and then empower them to do this with others. I think that the world would change really fast, because these types of people aren’t afraid to speak to others. They have been there! And with time and patience, and given the necessary skills they can help others too.
Imagine talking to a man or woman broken, beaten and battered. Here is your opportunity to love them for whom they are, to be able to encourage them to gain a new mindset, to point them in the right direction, to be there to lift them up even when they think they have failed. Then you can teach them how to do that for someone else. Would you be able to do that?
