I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my essay because I believe it is extremely important for people to pursue an occupation and lifestyle that they are really passionate about. The area in which I am most passionate about is my music and if I could make my dream a reality I would be earning a living as a recording artist. Music is so universal and can serve as a therapeutic agent for any adversity when it is created for positive intentions. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio I have been around music all my life, it is just in me, and I believe it is my purpose to spread positive life changing messages through my music to people around the world because I have been through life altering experiences myself. Music has a very influential effect on people and with the addition of a constructive perspective; it could have the potential power to change lives, especially if it were to be done on a worldwide scale. Since a child, I’ve been able to play three instruments which are piano, drums, and trumpet but later on in my teen years I discovered how powerful my words can be as a singer which inspired my love for recording. I know changing the world takes more than one person but with faith in God and trusting in His power, we can accomplish anything.
