I would choose to earn a living by being a full-time track and field coach to high school students. A coach is a mentor to others, a very trustworthy individual. I have had unpleasant relationships with my coaches in my own experiences and I want to be different. I want to be someone that others can admire and come to for any problems in their lives. I care about people’s lives and I want to get to know others. By being a coach I have the ability to connect with my players from a personal standpoint, while also instructing them in the sport that I am extremely passionate about. I would come to practices everyday with a smile on my face because I know that this isn’t work I am doing, it is what I love.

I might not change the world immediately, but I want to show other coaches that there is a special connection between them and their players. I will give a more compassionate and understanding way of coaching which will hopefully inspire others to do the same. To make my dream a reality I must stay focused with my education and maintain high grades so that my peers can respect me. Furthermore, I will become a very active member in my community so that I establish relationships with a wide range of members. Most of all, I have to stay true to myself. I cannot lose my morals or my way of life.
