I have been the kind of person who lives to help the people around me. If there is something I can do to make you happy or make your day easier, I’m going to do it. There is nothing like having a baby to make you realize you need to get your life together. And, nothing like having a baby to think of a thousand things that could make life for mom’s easier. Happy mom’s equal a happy world. After Jonathan came into my life I realized my days of working as a bartender and freelancing artist were done. I needed to find a better, and more structured path. I need to set an example for my son and make a stable, beautiful life for us. I am extremely driven and when I put my mind to it I can conquer anything. I am starting in the Industrial Design Program at the Art Institute of California Orange County to utilize their tools and collective knowledge to make my ideas come to life. I know my road will not be easy. I have a four month old baby boy who needs me and I do not currently have any source of income to pay for school, but I will not let that stop me. I am looking for help from scholarships like yours as well as financial aid (and very helpful friends to nanny) to get me through. It’s time to get my ideas out of my head, onto paper and into the world!
