Yes, it’s true: I have a dream. I know it’s what I want to do, and what I’m meant to do. I’ve always said, “If I have to have a job one day, it’s going to be one I love.” Well, I knew it from a young age- I want to be a singer. I’ve been singing as early as I can remember. I’m absolutely in love with it. However,my real dream is to impact people, inspire people. I want to be someone that young people or any people can look up to. So, to get the best of both worlds, I’m putting my two dreams together.
Now, music these days isn’t really music with a great message. You can listen to rock, pop, even country and I can guarantee you that celebrities are singing about negative things. They sing about the parties and girls and broken hearts and even drinking and drugs. I don’t like what that’s doing for people. Music has the power to bring people together, so why not bring them together in a positive way? I plan on changing just that.
When my dream of becoming a singer comes true, I want my music to influence people in a good way. I want to relate to people by focusing on the positive aspects in their lives. I know that all sounds really cheesy and not totally original, but I’m working my hardest to get better role models out there. Why not start with me?
