I love inspiring people, so, if I could, I would get paid to talk to people. When we acquaint ourselves with one another, not only do we make new friends, but we also learn valuable lessons about life. Often times, and without realizing it, people influence each other with what they say due to the fact that their listener is thinking and formulating their own ideas based on their personal experiences. I think that is amazing. I get really sad when I hear someone bring themselves down, and I make it a point to help them realize that we are all awesome and capable of achieving great things.

That is why I am going into advertising. Advertisers have great power. They communicate and get messages out to millions of people in one go. They can set societal norms and the culture of America. They can promote morals and peace. They can be agents of change, and that is what I hope to do.

Right now I am at Brigham Young University: Provo, where I hope to develop the skills necessary to touch the lives of millions. I want to get into their advertising program’s creative track, which accepts only twenty-four applicants each year, and I want to graduate from this school. I want to get a job with an ad agency and create the ads that I would love to see. I hope that in doing so, I can contribute to a better world.
