I love arts. I love to sing, dance, paint, speaking in public, etc…But we all know that an artist carrier is tough. Which is why ill bring some color to the corporate world someday. Sometimes I just stop for a minute and realize of how lucky I am to leave in this country with infinite possibilities.
But suddenly almost unconsciously I imagine the lives of those who are not as fortunate. In areas that are destroyed by natural incidents areas that poverty is the people’s air. Areas where millions of children will never live to see a donuts commercial or the inside of a refrigerator. Won’t even mention a few letters out of a children book. Areas where women are burned for not giving birth to a son or areas where they are raped daily. Areas where torment, disease, loss, and famine is called home. Areas that only I can imagine…
Shortly after those thoughts my world seem so small I almost feel disgusted of myself for being so selfish for not liking the clothes I’m wearing or the way my hair look or the kind of car I drive .. Life is too short to stay inside a box, when the world is calling our names in need. What really matters in this world? To do what you love or do what is right… In my case doing what is right is what I truly love, they are calling my name and they are desperately asking for …HELP NOW.
