Back in 1977 I joined the United States Air Force. I became an aircraft maintenance specialist. I worked on the fighter jets of my day. F-111, F-4, and eventually the F-15. I loved airplanes and mechanics. I still do. When it became possible for me to retire from a job and I had nothing better to do with my life except sit on my keister, I decided to go back to school and earn my Airframe & Powerplant license and a degree to go with it. My plan at the end of this school is to go to Eastern New Mexico University and take my education to a Bachelors. While doing that I hope to start my own repair station and try to employ 10-15 mechanics as well as do some training.
