My Dream career would be influencing people through my music and pieces of writing. I am very artistic and into creating new things, Being able to influence others especially the younger generation would be great for me. I would want to create music that would change someones life. I have used music, personally, to get over my problems and it is a very effective process for many other people. Music is a device that influences all age groups and all kinds of people, it does not discriminate and touches everyone in a different way. Being able to change someone’s life by writing lyrics and singing about my views and opinions is something that I would love to do in the future. This has been done before by music legends such as Micheal Jackson , who influenced a lot of people worldwide and brought attention to injustices that third world countries were going through. Personally, I have been raised in Uganda which is located in East Africa, which has exposed me to all kinds of cultural differences and traditions. With my exposure, I could influence all types of people and cultures and bring them to know more about each other. Not many Americans know that Africa is developing and at the same time experiencing set backs with their governments and so on, by my music I will be able to give a voice to the speechless. Everyone deserves to have their voice heard and I want to be the translator and essentially bring two very different cultures to an understanding.
