If money was not a factor in choosing my career I would be a victims advocate. I would do my best to ensure that each every victim was comfortable facing their predator. These predators could be rapists, abusers, or simply neglectful parents. Many times a predator is released because the victim is so terrified that he or she is unable to sit through a court hearing and face a jury. This would change the world as we know it. Often times the victim feels that they have to relive the horrors of their past and that they will look weak; however, when victims are able to testify they are proven to be strong and courageous to the rest of society. Most importantly a jury can clearly see predators for who they are and they can be punished for their crimes.
