If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be a Registered Dietician. It would change the world by increasing obesity awareness and helping the community attain greater health. Obesity and overweight rates are increasing and a lot of the time it is because people are undereducated about what foods can harm them and how important staying active is. By becoming a registered dietician I will have the credentials and knowledge to educate people on what they should eat, build meal plans and have the background information to educate them about the effect of foods in their body. I am currently on the pursuit of this dream by getting the education I need. I have struggled through college as the classes that are required are extremely difficult but not only that I have gone through struggles. I haven’t had enough financial help to pay for my living and I have had family members pass away throughout my college career. This has brought a tremendous amount of stress in my college life but I am still moving forward and working hard to get through college. Professors and deans at my university have seen my struggle and advised me to look into a different career or that maybe college is not for me. This has never stopped me as I am so passionate about my dream to become an RD. Even with my struggles I will continue to fight and will soon get my BS in Clinical Nutrition.
