If I could earn a living doing what I love, I would travel the world and write about the beautiful places and people I met on my adventures. Seeing new places and exploring different cultures would expand my perspective allowing me to understand more and develop more complex plots and characters. I could create more diverse stories that individuals from every country could identify with, perhaps broadening their perspective as well.
I am currently enrolled at Hanover College and I’m working on a bachelors in English, so that I may know the language and dynamics and provide a strong foundation for my writing. After I develop this skill I will be able to toy with the use of words and sentence structure to better express my ideas and change how they are interpreted.
I plan on applying to my school’s study abroad program so that I may experience the world while learning more about my intended major. This will also provide me with a basis for how I will function in the future as a traveling writer.
I have high hopes that one day my writing will be read worldwide, reaching readers of all ethnicities, genders and religions. Perhaps my writing will become a common ground for all individuals and erase the barriers between different people. This is my dream. This is my goal.
