Dancing isn’t just a category under the arts or a sport; it’s the air we breathe, it is our sanity. Martha Graham once said “Dance is a hidden language of the soul”. Dance is more than my passion, it’s who I am. I would do it for the rest of my life. The movement that is given and the message that is released changes people in a way you couldn’t imagine. Dance has a way of capturing the hearts of those who are joyful, hurt, loved, overwhelmed and pure. I’ve seen people get saved by the movements of dance and the messages of the song. I want to get as much training as possible so I can open my own dance studio so children at an early age can take classes and it will be affordable. Men and women of any age, shape, size, and race will be able to join. Dance brings people together to communicate as one. The dance studio will be like a rescue center, a peace of mind to those who need it. It’ll be a place of rest. Dance is beautiful, not only for the audience to watch the alignments that the human body does, but also for the dancer to create such alignment. Dancing with the feet is one thing but dancing with the heart is another and that’s what really counts. Dancing enables you to find yourself and lose yourself at the same time…
