Essay Question: If you could earn a living doing what you love most, what would it be, and how would it change the world? Describe the specific goals you would set to make that dream a reality.

If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, I would be a journalist. My goal as a journalist would be to travel the world, producing documentaries on various subjects. As a journalist it would be my job to educate the public. The public looks towards the media to enlighten them on social, economic, and political issues. As a journalist and therefore a part of the media, I could help change the world. My plan is to document on issues such as environmental crises, immigration, human trafficking, and much more. My environmental projects would emphasize the importance of conservation and organic produce, influencing people to change their dietary habits. Obesity in the U.S. and other nations would dwindle and begin to change their lives for the better, potentially starting a health revolution. My documentaries would also focus on diseases such as cancer, which hits home for too many people. I want my work to educate viewers about the carcinogens that are a part of their daily lives. Knowledge is power and the more people that know, the more they can protect themselves and prevent tragedy. I hope that one day my documentaries can change the world by eliminating obesity, diseases, environmental crises, and more issues.
