My name is Rodrigo Cruz and I have been playing soccer ever since I was 3 years old. I love playing the sport, watching it on T.V. and also teaching the sport to younger kids. I have always found it easy for me to interact with children and I have been told many times that I am a good teacher. One of my dreams would be to become an aspiring professional soccer player. If I were given the opportunity to live out this dream, I would use the publicity and money to fund camps all around the world to teach children the wonderful game of futbol. Many kids around the world already know about the game, but most countries are too poor to fund for good fields and equipment. I would love to be able to help in providing the necessities to play a great game of soccer. I would also take any time out that I could to pay visits to each of these camps and recreational areas to help further teach the kids about the game and sportsmanship that goes into it. The education of the sport itself is important but also the quality of the player is important. Sportsmanship and mature conduct on and off the field is greatly necessary for a true star athlete no matter what sport they play. Building a child’s character can lead to a much better world in general and I would love to take part in doing so.
