If I could earn a living doing what I love most I would be a physician-scientist by day, activist for human happiness by night. Why? For years I lived and suffered from depression. After getting help and dealing with this illness, my eyes were opened to a truth. The way we as a society live our lives is tragic and detrimental to our health and well-being. As a physician-scientist I will research and find healthier alternatives to the simple, daily necessities that we use, naively, not knowing they are harmful to our bodies. The make-up or lotion we put on our skin, or the copious amounts of sugared coffee, and energy drinks we feed our liver are just a few examples.
If I could earn a living doing this I would create an awareness of how fulfilling life could be by making the right choices. Eating healthier, exercising, using all natural and non-synthetic materials in our everyday lives. Thus ridding our bodies of the free radicals that cause cancer, making us not only healthier physically, but mentally as well. Giving everyone in the world a chance to realize the infinite bounds of happiness, the overwhelming appreciation of success due to hard work, and the understanding that life is wonderful to you as long as you are wonderful to yourself.
