Positive actions breed positive energy. I love to see my fellow human beings reach out to others. Whether through word or deed, those who seek to improve the quality of life to those around them encourage others to follow suit just by doing so. If I could earn a living encouraging continual positive action in others it would be my dream come true. My goals to achieving this would be as follows: Goal number one would be to reach people by newspaper column, an office, a radio show, an app, or maybe a combination of all. Goal number two would be to challenge those people. A simple daily challenge such as, hold the door for 3 people today or, sincerely compliment four random strangers, or maybe something not so simple like connect with someone you haven’t heard from in awhile and see how life’s going. Once the challenges are out there, at the end of the day I’ll ask for feedback on how things went and goal number three would be to inform people through various media the impact doing good had on others. Even if these Good Deed challenges stop at the person experiencing them, or maybe they even go unrecognized, the practice of being positive will be habit-forming and it will change our world by shifting our daily focus from being mostly about our lives, our routines, and our concerns, to caring about others and their daily well-being.
