What I love doing most is coin collecting, in order to turn that into a career I would have to own a coin shop. This is not an easy task. It requires knowing how to run and business and a lot of financial backing to get started. In order to achieve this dream I would need to attend a business college and get a degree in business management. This in itself is not hard; however once I have graduated is when it gets difficult. Opening a coin shop costs a lot of money. However my Dad has offered to help invest and I believe that I would be able to get other investors or a loan from a bank, thus allowing me to achieve my dream.
Many people would ask how could you use old pieces of metal to change the world? I would reply through history. Coin collecting is a way to see into the past, to think about the successes and failures of those who came before us. It ties us to our ancestors, to our country. This is the money that ended a civil war, money that bought supplies to build the first airplane. Through the past we get ideas for the future and a drive to make it better. We overcome adversity because those in the past already have and we gain strength and guidance from that. I would use coin collecting to help others gain a vision of the future.
