If I could do what I love as a living, it would be Information Technology; I can change the world by creating the next big thing to save adult and children’s lives. I’ve heard of so many children dying in hot cars because they were “forgotten” and it breaks my heart. I feel that if I have the chance to prevent that, it’s my duty to try. I would like to design a system that would detect a child left alone in a hot car. A sensor would be placed in the front and back of the car or truck that would detect the heat level in the car. The sensors can also detect if there is a child in the car according to their weight. It would automatically turn on the air conditioner; unlock the car and alert 911. This would save time because no windows would have to be broken to get in the car and the child would be accessed in a much faster time frame.
Additionally I would like to design a procedure that locates a missing child. A water proof safe device that is located on the back of the child’s ear would pin point the exact location of the kidnapped or missing child. This device would deliver a signal to your computer or phone by looking up your child’s name and SSN.
My goal is to get as much education as I can to make my dream of creating that next big thing a reality through the use of technology.
