Changing the world. I have dreamed of doing that since I was a child and I think mission aviation is the perfect way to change the world. I have wanted to fly since my sophomore year of high school and have been a Christian my whole life, accepting Jesus when I was six year old. I felt god calling me to be a missionary pilot my senior year of high school after going on three mission trips to Mexico. I was also able to fly in a few small airplanes where my love for aviation grew and became real. Serving Jesus while flying an airplane seems like the perfect combination. As a missionary pilot, I will fly airplanes into remote areas of Africa, South America, or Indonesia. I will serve the local people by delivering supplies, flying pastors, and providing emergency medical flights. One goal that I set and completed is enrolling in Moody Bible Institute and majoring in Mission Aviation Technology. Other goals that will help me make my dream a reality are taking flying lessons, getting my private pilot license, and attaining my airframe and powerplant mechanic license. My final goal is to apply to a mission organization such as Mission Aviation Fellowship or New Tribes Mission, and to be accepted to serve with them. My overall goal in this dream is to faithfully serve the Lord, follow his guidance, and share the love and salvation He has for us.
