My dream job is to be a professor at a community college. Not only are community college professors excellent teachers who are willing to go out of their way to make sure students understand and succeeded, they are the people changing the world. I believe that teachers have the power to change the world through education. Teachers at community college are not interested in the money, rather, they are there because they care about students and making a difference. If I could earn a living and be a professor at community college my dreams would come true. The steps I am taking to accomplish this is going to UC Berkeley to further my education. After graduation, I plan to apply for graduate school at Berkeley. They have a very good program that prepares students to be teachers helping them build lesson plans, lectures, tests and manage many classes. After I receive my masters, I will apply for my PHD hopefully at Stanford University. My family does not come from money, so when it was time to choose a college, community college was my option. I was unsure of what to expect, but I never thought that it would be the best education I had ever had. My professors at my community college changed my life. They opened my mind to new and challenging ideas. They helped me through hard times in my life and they were guides through my education. And I plan to do the same for others.
