One thing that my parents always taught me is to follow my dreams and make them come true. I am finally getting the chance to do that by enrolling at Southeastern Louisiana University. Since everyone has a dream of what they want to be, my dream job is to be a nurse so that I can help people. One of my favorite things is to make sure that everyone is happy. When people are down, I feel that it is my duty to cheer them up. So I am choosing to be a nurse so that I can fulfill this dream of mine.
Nursing has always interested me since I was young. The time has flown by because I am about to start my journey of helping others. One thing that always stood out to me is that nurses were always friendly and outgoing, which brighten peoples days. Especially those nurses who dealt babies or children, which I will be going in to. Just recently, my friend’s grandfather died, and the nurses who helped him were always ready to please him and the family in any way. It takes so much to be a nurse, which means it takes special people to do it. And by knowing that there are good hearted people out there willing to help a person in any way that they can, inspires me to be one of those people.
