In my 18 years of living, the best day of my life was when I was just four years old. When my parents told me I was going to have a little brother, I could not have been more excited. I had always wanted a little sibling to play with and look after. Ever since the day my brother was born, I have found a deep appreciation for taking care of young children. If I could earn a living doing what I love most, it would be taking care of children in a way that most parents can’t. Most parent don’t know what to do when their child is sick or why they are crying more than usual. Being able to take care of children in a doctors office or hospital setting would help create a healthier younger generation, assuring that society can put faith into a bright future. One goal I have to make this dream a reality is to graduate college with a degree in child development so I can fully understand the different stages. Another goal I have is to be involved with internships that involve working with kids so I will come prepared and experienced. Not everyone is given a chance to make a difference in the world but I believe my love for children is a great start for me to be able to make a difference.
