If I could make a living doing what I love to do, my career would be an interventional radiologist. Now why would an 18 year old aspire to do that? Well for me cancer has played a huge role in my life. I’ve had two grandparents pass away from the disease as well as family, friends, teachers and others I have come in contact with. During the time when my grandparents were ill, the radiologist who took care of them made the whole process much easier not only for my grandparents but also the rest of the family. The effort he put into his work gave us all that much needed comfort. If I can become a physician like he was and give families the security they need I will be one satisfied man. Now that might not change the world but it will change the attitude and feelings of the patients and also their loved ones. Changing just a piece of the world, that family, still sounds like an accomplishment to me.
