Throughout my entire life I have always wanted to live my dreams, and to me that meant being an “ARTrepreneur.” An Artrepreneur is someone who opposes the “starving artist” stereotype, someone who applies the fundamentals of entrepreneurship to the artist world. I want to not only create art but to design clothing, shoes, cars, architecture, technology and general items that can help us better our everyday lives. My goal is for artists to realize the different possibilities that are out there for them and that being an artist can be just as or more lucrative than being a doctor or a lawyer. My plan is to go to school, perfect my skills, and brand myself as an artist all while working towards building my own business. I understand the amount of work that lies ahead but like the old saying goes “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
