Many of my friends complain that science is boring, but I love science because I am interested in learning the scientific explanation for everything. From an early age, I have always been curious about the human body and the different organ systems in it. My curiosity at an early age has given me a lifelong passion for science.
I want to earn a living being a Registered Nurse. I believe that the career of Nursing is both challenging and rewarding because it involves caring for patients. One must be compassionate and committed to helping others with health issues of all ages, cultural backgrounds and religion. When I become a nurse I plan to give back by helping people with health issues around the world. Although being a nurse is my wish, someday I plan to find a treatment for autism. My brother is severely autistic and I have always dreamt of hearing him talk. I know he has a hard time communicating with everyone and it frustrates him. I have always dreamt of finding a cure or treatment for him because I want to make his and my mother’s life easier.
I will be proud to proclaim that “I am a nurse!” There is an enormous degree of respect and pride that go along with being a nurse. I know I will have a positive impact on the lives of my patients, their families, and loved ones every day.
