Cupcakes, pies, cookies, macaroons, and much, much more. My passion for baking and in return getting happiness from those who receive what I make has only grown since I’ve become a student at Johnson & Wales. There are many ways that this will affect people around me. A close friend had their toddler pass away and all I knew to do was bake. After taking them various goodies, they were so thankful and even happy (as happy as you can be in this situation) for what I had given them. Despite any troubles one is enduring, some happiness is always possible. I plan to open up a bakery after graduating and with this, I want to donate things to homeless shelters, elderly homes and hospitals. Although these people may not be in the highest of spirits, giving them these things will make them feel better, for the fact that someone cares to make them happier. To succeed, I must set various goals to get there. My first goal obviously being to graduate college. While in college, I need to gain as much experience as I can so that when I do open my bakery, I will be able to make it the best I can. In addition to gaining experience, I must also save money, while building up my credit to be able to get a loan to open my business. With all of these ideas, the thing I am most looking forward to is bringing smiles to everyone I can.
