Truly, it’s a shame I have a serious boyfriend, otherwise I would be working towards my lifelong dream of becoming a cat lady. As a professional cat lady, I would provide food and love to any cats I find. Spaying and neutering cats would also be a necessity, to keep the cats from overpopulating and killing songbirds or other important wildlife. I understand that there are some consequences that can come with my aspiration, such as always being covered in fur or sometimes getting scratched by unruly kittens.
To make my dream a reality it is first necessary to find cats. There are plenty of large cities where cats are considered a problem. I could talk to local shelters and the police to let them know that I would take in any cats they are unable to care for. A veterinarian would also be necessary to provide medication and other care for any unhealthy cats. If my operation became too large, I would also need others to help provide affection for my cats.
For now I suppose I will pacify myself by continuing my studies in psychology and feeding stray cats that cross my path.
