One of the hardest things to do in life for anyone is to love and accept one self. Society has shaped our mentalities into thinking we have to live a life to please others. I want to be able to use the skills and education I acquire in school to encourage children to be more accepting of themselves and everyone else. I want to earn a living changing lives, and helping mold children into the best version of themselves. Most importantly I want children to grow up knowing that they are fine just the way they are and that anything is possible with commitment and dedication.
One day I will travel around the world offering workshops in schools. I will teach children how to accept and love themselves. I will inspire young boys and girls to graduate high school and seek a higher education. I will teach them techniques and skills they can use in all aspects of their lives from finances to inner beauty. I may not be able to touch the souls of all the children I encounter but I know I will be able to make a difference in at least one child. I believe children are key to the success of our future. They are the next generation, therefore encouraging them to grow in a positive way will make for a better society. Accepting and loving ourselves is the first step in being successful.
