Our first step in preventing risks and promoting the health, safety and education of our future generations is to start at home. Parents and caregivers are a child’s first teacher and what children learn in the first three years of their lives depends greatly on what is taught to them from knowledge. Knowledge is power and everyone can use it.
This is why a position as a Parent and Child Educator (Home-Based Teacher) for ages birth to three would be a wonderful way for me to promote positive, realistic activities and resources for the parents of our future leaders, while building a bond with the family and introducing the child to the education world while in the comfort of their own homes. I believe that the outcome of early education can be only beneficial to the families and children in helping them build confidence and skills needed to provide the best possible care to their ability. No matter the economic status, race or religion of a child and their family, everyone deserves equal and ample opportunity to succeed. And beginning early at home is a great place to start
