If I had the ability to do whatever I wanted and make a living off of it, I would chose to help implement clean technology into communities, businesses, and places around the world that don’t have access to power. We have the technology to provide clean, renewable energy. The ‘inventing’ part is done, and has been done for quite some time. Now it’s time for the implementation of that technology. The methods of harvesting clean energy continue to be innovated and improved to make it more efficient and cost effective, yet the world is still so reliant on non-renewable, polluting resources. Our failure to implement clean energy has consequences. These consequences continue to become more and more apparent each day through global warming, pollution, and a vast amount of other problems. I find it absolutely necessary that something is done to jump-start this process and put into action the technology we have right in front of us. If I could make a living off of it, I would love to spend my time making this possible, and figuring out ways around the barriers preventing this advancement. A world where we, as a species, rely primarily on clean energy makes both the planet and the lives of every one of its inhabitants healthier and safer. That is something that’s worth working towards.
