Ever since I was a little girl I’ve dreamed about being a Television News Anchor. I wanted to bring truth to the people with my contagious smile and positive attitude! As cheesy as that may sound, it was a dream that I had high hopes of achieving. As badly as I wanted to do that, I knew that I always had a knack for helping people and it’s something that I needed to do.

So I was conflicted, should I do what I have a passion for or should I do what I need to do? I came to the conclusion that I could do both. I want people to hear the truth. Just like Walter Cronkite, a famous broadcaster, once said, “In seeking truth you must get both sides of the story.” I want to make people’s day, even if it’s just a smile. I want to be a role model and set prime examples for our future generations. I want to change the world by shedding some light on all of the darkness.

The only way to start this beautiful journey I have planned is to go to school. With the help of you, I know I can achieve all of my goals, and then some! I will not fail because this is what I’m meant to do. A famous man once said, “Be the change you want to see in the World,” and I plan on doing exactly that!
