The question was asked of me, “If you could earn a living doing what you love most, what would it be, and how would it change the world?” I would answer it by writing and editing books and websites about Scholastic (Quiz) Bowl. It would be called Scholastic Bowl Database. I would include all fields of study from elementary school to college (including: mathematics, the sciences, Holy Bible, religion, history, etc.). I would use a word processor (ex. Microsoft Word or OpenOffice Writer) to compose the questions and answers and fact lists, edit it continuously, update it and repeat the process for every article.
When I was in high school and at a local community college, I excelled in history, social sciences, Biblical and language arts questions in Scholar Bowl, so those areas would be the most enjoyable to do. I would not only come up with questions and answers in an easy to read format for all students of all ages, but would make it so affordable that children of all ages, even well into adulthood, will want to learn. We would have higher standardized test scores and people would be more educated than before. That is an example of how the world could be changed!
