My ultimate goal in life is to become a flight nurse. Right now, I work in a mental health facility while attending college for nursing. Every day I leave the hospital the helicopter sits on the pad while the crew works on either the helicopter itself or a patient they recently received. I imagine myself in a flight suite helping and speaking to my patient and everyday saving lives or comforting loved ones. I have a passion for humanity and need to help others. I am not one to flinch when someone is injured and I am the first to sit and hold a loved one’s hand when they feel loss. My only flaw is I cry right alongside them and find myself caring more than others but I feel this is what separates me from other nursing students. I am not in it for money but truly to save and change lives. That is why I work so hard both in school and at work to become the best nurse I can be.
