What I love doing the most in the world is helping people. I know it sounds cliché, and everyone probably says that, but I am serious about it. When I was younger, my father was abusive towards my mother, my stepmothers, and all of my siblings. It took forever for my family to escape that life. Ever since then, I have vowed to make sure that nobody has to go through what my family did. What I would love to do for a living is to be lawyer for abused women and children. I want to be able to help families safely get out of abusive situations. I also want to build more safe homes for the families that need to stay somewhere when certain circumstances get out of control; these homes would be a community style living situation, and could span from short-term to long-term living. Eventually, I would love to expand these safe homes into every country around the world. By doing these things, the world would begin to be a safer place for women. In order to help reach these goals, I am going to college and majoring in social work. After that, I plan on going to law school so that my dreams can officially start to become a reality. You only get one chance at life, and I hope my life can be used to help others begin theirs.
