If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, I would be a professional athlete. I would further my dreams of playing the sport I love while I encourage kids to do the same. I would like to be a positive role model in young people’s lives. I would want to show them that honesty and hard work can pay off.
Growing up I never really got to experience things that my friends did. My family wasn’t dirt poor but compared to the people I hung out with, we weren’t as privileged. We’re in the dead zone between having enough money so we don’t have to worry about expenses like college and getting help financially because we are too poor.
If I were a professional athlete I would show kids that you have the power to make your dreams come true. Good things come to those who do good things for others. Most importantly I would show them that family is the most important thing in life, they are the ones that will be there to support you when no one else will. Young children nowadays need a sports figure like myself to look up to, to see that you can become something special.
