Growing up, I was always taught to take care of people that were in need. I helped my parents take care of my grandmother and uncle who both had dementia up until they died. I have always been a caring person who strives to educate people so they can better take care of themselves. Nursing is not just a job; it’s a noble occupation. With my nursing knowledge, I can help inform, counsel, advocate, and provide care for each and every patient. I will be able to care for people from all walks of life and provide them with the utmost care. I want to impact them in ways that they will remember for a lifetime. When people enter into the healthcare arena for care, they have certain expectations. I will be with my patients during the most intimate, challenging and frightening moments in their life.
