If I had the means to assist single moms without anything in return I would. I want a program in place that will assist single mothers in need. This program will not be solely based on income but on merit. A lot of times mothers get rejected for assistance because they make too much money based on an income chart their company created. But in all actuality if she made enough she wouldn’t be looking for help. I would have a normal application process that would detail the issue(s) at hand. We would provide money for bills, rent, or food assistance. I would research how to have my program funded or create a business plan to receive a loan to open several locations. I grew up in a home with a single mom and there plenty of moments I wished she could have received help with something but she was always denied because those companies said she made too much money. We have been evicted on several occasions, no food, no electricity, and cold showers. I believe in my heart that if I could set this program up in The US in will change the world. Why? Simply because living a life where evictions, no food, no electricity, and cold showers don’t exist can make all the difference in a child’s life.
