Choosing my favorite passion as a job path for the rest of my life is next to impossible for the simple fact that there are too many to single out one. However, interests along the line of teaching, counseling, family, marriage and children lead me towards aspirations of a teaching license now, and a counseling license post-retirement. Not only is this a ‘what if’ scenario, but I am currently making steps toward this goal in reality. Because I believe that children are our most important resources as a society, and know that a stable family is a key factor in statistical success, I am attending the University of Akron to earn Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Intervention Specialist. My aim is to provide a fun, well-rounded and invigorating education geared towards every single student that walks into my classroom. I am excited to foster a love for academia, fuel curiosity and sharpen critical thinking, and share important life skills with each individual. The point of this is to help a fledgling generation learn to take hold of their place in the world, that they are always capable and well informed consumers, and internally driven to succeed in helping themselves and the people around them. In regards to belief in the importance of family, I hope to open a privately owned bed and breakfast and marriage counseling facility upon retirement. A perk of these dreams is an excuse to use Pinterest regularly.
